Gibsons – 16x ROAS & -25% CPA
Working with Gibsons Games across Google Ads & Meta Ads, we have been able to reduce CPA by 25% and increase ROAS to above 16x.
Client challenge
Gibsons is a household name in jigsaw puzzles. The pandemic saw the launch of a new ecommerce site, moving away from a sole focus on wholesale and transition to a blended direct to consumer model. Gibsons were looking for a partner to help with PPC and Paid Social to expand on the success they had seen initially with their website.
Solution
We took over management of their Google Ads & Meta Ads accounts – starting with research and existing performance analysis we built a picture of how the brand was performing across paid channels. Using the research and benchmarking, we were able to devise a paid media strategy across data, media and creative.

Results
We identified UGC and Reels were missing from Gibsons’ paid social strategy. Implementing video into their social strategy allowed us to increase engagement and conversion metrics quickly. Combining PMAX, Search & Shopping ads we have been able to drive down CPA and increase ROAS to above 16x.
